Welcome to SuggestMyCollege. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Student", "you") and SUGGESTMYCOLLEGE EDUCON INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED ("Company", "SuggestMyCollege", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of https://suggestmycollege.com, our mobile applications, and all associated educational products and services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing, browsing, registering on, or making a purchase through the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our related policies (including our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy).
1. Eligibility & User Accounts
- 1.1You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental or guardian consent to register and purchase paid services. By using this Platform, you represent that you have legal capacity to enter into this contract.
- 1.2You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details up to date.
- 1.3You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and OTP codes. You are strictly responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2. Nature of Platform & Educational Services
SuggestMyCollege provides digital information and guidance services, including:
- Higher education college search, comparisons, rankings, and placement analytics;
- Predictive rank predictors and cut-off estimators based on historical statistical trends;
- Digital online mock tests, practice question papers, and algorithmic performance analyses;
- 1:1 college admissions counselling sessions conducted via video conference or phone;
- Verified student ratings, reviews, and campus experiences.
3. Informational Disclaimer & No Guarantee of Admission
- 3.1Rank predictions, college chances, cutoffs, and fee figures are generated based on historical public data, algorithmic modeling, and voluntary submissions. They serve as advisory indicators only.
- 3.2SuggestMyCollege does not guarantee admission, seat allotment, scholarship disbursement, or placement outcomes at any college or university. Official admission rules set by respective colleges, councils, and statutory authorities always prevail.
4. Fees, Payments & Electronic Billing
- 4.1Certain features (such as premium mock test bundles and 1:1 expert counselling slots) require payment of specified service fees. All pricing is displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and includes applicable GST unless indicated otherwise.
- 4.2Payments are processed through RBI-authorized, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. SuggestMyCollege does not collect or store sensitive banking PINs or CVVs.
- 4.3All purchases and cancellation requests are governed strictly by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The Platform, including all code, software, algorithms, databases, website design, text, test questions, analysis tools, graphics, and the "SuggestMyCollege" name and logo, are the exclusive property of SUGGESTMYCOLLEGE EDUCON INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED and are protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access digital services for individual, non-commercial educational preparation. You may not reproduce, scrape, resell, modify, or redistribute Platform content without prior written authorization.
6. User Generated Content & Reviews
- 6.1When submitting reviews, ratings, or questions, you warrant that your feedback reflects genuine personal experience as a student or alumnus, is truthful, and does not defame, harass, or violate third-party rights.
- 6.2SuggestMyCollege reserves the right to moderate, verify, edit, or remove content that violates community standards or applicable law.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use automated bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data from the Platform;
- Attempt to bypass authentication, reverse-engineer proprietary algorithms, or introduce malicious scripts;
- Share, sell, or loan your student account access to multiple individuals;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsify your examination scorecards;
- Post defamatory, abusive, obscene, or commercially promotional spam.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SuggestMyCollege, its directors, officers, employees, and counsellors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from: (a) your reliance on cutoff predictions or college information; (b) failure to secure admission to any institution; (c) interruptions or delays in digital services; or (d) any third-party links or interactions. In any event, our total liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific service in dispute.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Patna, Bihar, India.
